On March 22, 2025, the Focolare Movement of Ethiopia organized a vibrant fundraising bazaar at the Holy Savior Church in Addis Ababa. This event was a collaborative effort between the Focolare Movement and various organizations, including the Green Heart Foundation, SOS Children’s Villages, Addis Animal Project, and more than ten other companies and NGOs.
The primary objective of the fundraiser was to collect funds to support various formation programs offered by the Focolare Movement for both youth and adults. These programs aim to nurture individuals spiritually, morally, and socially, fostering a deeper sense of faith, unity, and leadership within the community. Additionally, the event sought to expand the movement’s reach to different regions of Ethiopia, strengthening its presence and deepening the bond among its members.
The bazaar featured a wide array of activities, including stalls selling handmade crafts, food, and cultural items, as well as entertainment programs showcasing music, dance, and artistic performances. Attendees had the opportunity to learn more about the mission of the Focolare Movement while contributing to a meaningful cause.
By bringing together different organizations and individuals under a shared vision, the event highlighted the spirit of unity, generosity, and community building. The funds raised will play a crucial role in furthering the movement’s mission, ensuring that more people both young and old can participate in transformative formation programs that promote solidarity, faith, and social responsibility.
